Terms of use
Last updated 29 October 2026
These terms cover every app we run for tennis clubs and coaches: Tennis Sessions, Tennis Juniors, Tennis Comp and Tennis admin. By using an app you agree to them. Each section says which apps it applies to.
The service
The apps are provided by ink. interactive, Melbourne, Victoria ("we", "us"). They help clubs and coaches (the "organiser") run their programs. The coaching itself, class times, fees, refunds and make-up rules are set by your organiser, not by us.
Using Tennis Sessions
- Sign in only as yourself, and keep your sign-in link to yourself: anyone who opens it can act as you. Only offer or grab sessions you are entitled to under your organiser's rules.
- A session you grab is an arrangement between you and your organiser. If you can't make it, tap Can't make it in the app so someone else can play.
- Make-up credits, waitlists and levels are managed by your organiser, who has the final say.
Using Tennis Juniors
- Keep your family code private. Anyone with the code can see and change your family's attendance.
- Marking a child away tells the coach they won't attend. It does not change any fees or create a make-up class unless your organiser says so.
- Keep your child's medical notes and emergency contact up to date, and tell the coach directly about anything urgent on the day. The app is a record, not a substitute for talking to the coach.
- Telling the club whether your child is staying next term helps them plan. A place is only confirmed when your organiser says so.
- Paid or Due on your page is your organiser's record. If your club takes card payments, Pay by card takes you to Stripe and the money goes to the club, not to us. Refunds and fee questions are for your club.
- Make-up credits are recorded by your organiser and are subject to their policies.
Using Tennis Comp
- Keep your family code private. Anyone with the code can see your family's matches and answer for your players.
- Saying who's coming helps the team manager. Who plays each week is up to the team manager and the club.
- Fixtures, ladders, official results and washout rules belong to the competition's association. If anything here differs, the association's information is right.
- Team managers: use parents' contact details only to run the team, and don't pass them on.
Events
Places at an event go to the first replies. Once they are taken, replies go on a waitlist in order. Your organiser has the final say on places, costs and refunds.
For clubs and coaches (Tennis admin)
- You are responsible for the information you add, keeping it accurate, and having permission to add it. For children, that means the agreement of a parent or guardian.
- Keep admin PINs secure and change them if someone leaves.
- Respond to requests from your players and families to see, correct or remove their information, and tell us if you need help.
- New clubs get a free trial, with no card needed (the sign-up page says how long it runs). After that, the price and billing period of your plan apply. Prices are per club, in Australian dollars and include GST.
- Plans are paid by card through Stripe, yearly or monthly, and renew until cancelled. Cancel or change your card any time from Plan and billing in your admin. Your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for.
- If a trial or plan ends without payment, there are 7 days of grace. After that the club's pages stay open to read, but changes are paused until a plan is chosen. You can export your information at any time.
- Fees recorded in the apps are your own records. If you turn on card payments, you connect your club's own Stripe account: payments go straight to it under Stripe's terms, Stripe's fees come out of them, and refunds, disputes and receipts are handled in your Stripe account. We don't add a fee.
- If you ask us for help, we may open your admin view. This lasts two hours and shows in your activity log.
Fair use
Don't misuse the apps: no attempts to get into areas you are not allowed in, guess PINs or codes, enter false information about others, or disrupt the service.
Weather and washouts
Forecasts are a guide only. Whether a session or class goes ahead is your organiser's call. Always check the app or with your coach if in doubt.
Availability and liability
We work to keep the apps running and backed up, but they are provided "as is" and may sometimes be unavailable or contain mistakes. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, such as a missed session or class. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Program names
Tennis Sessions can be used for any adult group sessions, including Cardio Tennis, which is the name of a tennis program run by clubs and coaches under Tennis Australia. Tennis Sessions and Tennis Juniors are our own names for the apps. The apps are independent and are not made, endorsed or sponsored by Tennis Australia, and are not part of any Tennis Australia program. Tennis Comp is run by ink. interactive for clubs, not by Eastern Region Tennis or any other competition association.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Questions: play@inkinteractive.com.au. See also our privacy policy.
